Policies and Guideline

Major Policies and Guideline for the MHS Member Missions, Fulltime Workers and Affiliated Hospitals.

Core Value

The core biblical value of MHS is Christian Brotherhood that is contributing without any expectation to help full time workers who are suffering and are in need

MHS is not an alternate for our total dependency on God to heal. Our God is the only healer either through medicine or miracle. “The Lord be exalted who delights in the well-being of His servant” Psalms 35:27 (NIV)

Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries will be fulltime workers who are part of registered Mission Organizations, Church Networks or credible Christian Networks who will shoulder the responsibilities along with MHS. MHS is expected to serve thousands of fulltime workers including the India Missions Association (IMA) networks. The benefits are based on Group Liability Scheme and Crowdfunding.

Member Organization Registration

Organizations who comply with the aforementioned beneficiary’s requirements can register their organization online with MHCF. The approval will be purely at the discretion of the MHCF Board. Organizations should upload their permanent and baptized staff details as follows.

SL Name Address City Block State Pin Phone Email Aadhar/PAN/OCI /Passport Fulltime Staff / Staff Child Church Name Remarks

MHCF is primarily connected with the Member Organization and through them their staff are connected. By registering with MHCF, the member organization is agreeing with MHS policies and privacy policy of their staff whose details and story will be circulated to raise funds through crowdfund using GiveCharity platform.

MHS Member organizations agree to donate the following amount towards crowdfunding for MHS through GiveCharity platform.

 7) The funds are available only for hospitalization in normal condition. Non-hospitalization and regular medicines for chronic sickness like diabetic etc., are not considered. However, for major diagnosis without hospitalization, the funds can be requested through Affiliated Hospitals if treatment is taken there. Kindly note that MHS is focused on Secondary and Tertiary medical care. So kindly avoid using MHS for primary medical care.

8) MHCF subsidy is considered only general bed charges. Full time Workers are responsible to ask the hospital to consider the payment under General Category. Private room charges if opted by the patient with or without their knowledge, MHS will not be in a position to pay. However, if amount is raised through GiveCharity platform, then we will pass on the same to the hospital.

9) Once the staff leaves the MHS Member Organization, they cannot avail the facilities of MHS automatically.

10) If excess amount is raised more than the campaign amount then that that excess amount will be transferred to MHS general fund.

11) While availing the treatment subsidy, the maximum amount specified in item number (1) is applicable for one sickness for one time only. Only after 24 months of the first benefit received from MHS, recurring treatment subsidy for the same sickness can be considered under special consideration. For other sicknesses, requests can be made for subsidy as usual. The maximum amount is calculated for each financial year. This capping is necessary in order to safeguard MHS system from draining funds rapidly due to few recurring requests. Kindly remember MHS wants to serve as many as possible. However, using GiveCharity platform additional amount may be raised, only the promised amount will not be paid for the subsequent requests.

When and How to Inform

As soon as a missionary is admitted or understand the need for treatment it should be informed to MHS through GiveCharity campaign. Even it can be reported when they are in the initial stages of treatment. Treatment without intimating MHS through GiveCharity campaign later sending bills for reimbursement is not allowed in MHS. Member organizations are primarily responsible to trace the need of the fulltime workers and inform MHCF through GiveCharity campaign as soon as the missionary is admitted in the Hospital. MHCF or GiveCharity is not an insurance company rather a Charity Organization to help fulltime workers to help each other for possible total assistance for medical treatment. No member mission or fulltime workers who are part of it can claim the right to get benefit rather serve each other with the principle of Scriptural Brotherhood. MHS is committed only to give assistance for treatment with the donation received from the fulltime workers and through crowdfunding. It is purely based on Group Liability Scheme.

Treatment cost might go beyond the capacity of MHS or GiveCharity platform will be borne by the missionary or mission organization through the GiveCharity platform.
